" and we're still poles apart" completed in mixed media
water colour , ink , and gouache but predominantly the latter which is opaque and has the covering power. I used to use a similar technique with oil painting - a monochrome underpainting to get tone vales right , then overpaint with colour. Just a local scene in its summer outfit.
