The ones we paint when we're enjoying ourselves are so often our best work - I remember a fellow-painter showing me her latest, and saying "I had a lot of trouble with this one" - quick as a flash, i.e. much too quick, I replied "Yes, it shows..." .... a silence ensued.

ink , matchstick , watercolour( transparent and opaque) and brush . Seem to have a fixation of end of day - must be my age - or a wish for a good nights kip. Enjoying myself so it can't be serious..
