Very effective Mike. I am thinking of venturing a bit more into mixed media.

Like the effect and like that you have included the pylons and not omitted them. It gives a reality to the scene and I like the mixed media effect you have created.

The pylons add scale and direction to the composition. great work Mike.

Hi to all , thanks for the kind comments. Sandra , have a look at Chris Forsey for mixed media DVDs - they show that different medias can be used successfully together. This one uses ink , watercolour , acrylic , and gouache Fully agree regarding those pylons , without them there the picture loses most , if not all , of its impact
