Thanks to all , I have been fortunate enough to have covered some ground both here and back over in the UK ( I have seen more of the UK since living here in NZ than in my 30 years of living there). I carry and use a sketch book but I also take lots of digital photos - and they can yield multi subject matter. Painting is my major hobby and I am engaged in doing so as often as I can. cheers Mike C.
