This is just lovely.

Nice painting Lynne, nice ressesion and great reflections of the hill. I know this mountain very well having led groups up there as well as many trips on my own, you have brought out the crags really well and a great palette as well, nice one.

A wonderful painting of a wonderful place. The view of the snowdon horseshoe from plas y brenin is truly one of the finest views in Britain,and you 've done it justice.

First I saw my name then the picture leapt out me. It is a superb piece. Never seen in it that light, tried to climb foothills some years back and gave up in the mist. Sunshine brightens certain areas, then shadows, all in the great tones you have created - smashing.

A wonderful use of colour, Lynne. The green of the field with cloud shadows in the middle ground provides a beautiful contrast. Also a great job creating the mountain peaks with their highlights and shadows.

Thank you so much for all your comments - I climbed Mount Snowdon ( via Llanberis route ) 4 years ago -I couldn't do it now- it was the hardest thing I've ever attempted ! - it really is a magnificent place - a challenge to climb & a challenge to paint.
