It's beautiful Lynne.

It's a lovely small painting, like it a lot

You’ve achieved great depth with your use of colour. Lovely

I admire the harmony of colour and the depth of the painting, you have achieved Lynne.

Such a beautiful painting Lynne , such expressive brush work and amazing palette too

I appreciate all your complimentary comments, Sarah, Heather, Martin, Carole and Ravindra. I took out the blue/grey streak across the bottom of the mountains and the painting is better now. Thank you Carole and Ravindra for specifically commenting on the harmony of color and my palette. I work hard on those two objectives: for my palette, choosing a small group of colors to "grey down" and create harmony throughout the painting. I appreciate your mentioning those specifics. I also do battle to loosen up brushwork.

Yes, the harmony of colour is beautiful and the light effects too!

This is painted on an 8" x 10" canvas with water-soluble oils. It is from a photograph, but I changed the composition and colors to suit the liveliness of the spring we are having here.
