This is a lovely piece Lynda , love the lead into the scene and the white sheep to catch the eye.

This is really well done Lynda.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I have to admit that a good photograph can help produce a good scene to paint.

A lovely tranquil setting Lynda nicely done indeed.

You’ve captured a beautiful pastoral landscape here Lynda, and a lovely painting. With watercolour, practice some transparent washes, particularly useful in the distance and middle distance. And keep an eye on your tonal values, darker in the foreground obviously, lighter in the background. Hope you don’t mind me pointing these minor issues out.!

Another good one Lynda

Oh I really appreciate your comments and hints and tips, and techniques, and definitely colour and depth in appropriate areas of a painting. Thank you so much Alan, and if anyone wants to give a helpfull comment on my posts..........love you loads. Thank you. :}

The lightening of distant hills etc is something that I didn't learn easily, but i'm getting it a bit better now, than I did years ago when this painting was done. And it does make a difference. Thank you anyone who wants to comment to help. I will always appreciate it.

This is so lovely Lynda.

Thank you Carole.
