Thanks for the comment on Scruffy Buffy, Lynda. looked up your gallery and this is gorgeous...swirling and curling and full of colour. I've seen it done and it's a fascinating technique, isn't it!

Luscious colours. I did a few things with Karat Liqua, but it was taken off the market and I don't think I can be bothered to go to all the trouble that true Encaustic wax painting involves. But this is a great result.

Thank you all for your comments, I love to do Encaustic because it allows me not to think, yes I have to pick the colour wax to melt on the iron but after that it is just a case of letting my arm/hand swish the iron about until I like what I see. It is not like doing a detailed drawing then colouring it in.

Very uplifting, full of life.
