Wonderful shapes, movement and colour. You definitely do have to 'look again' or you miss some of the amazing detail. It is also 3D - or it looks it - how did you do that?!

Oh boy! How did you do this? Encaustic ? A carnival of colour...just what we need in these dreary days. Lovely!

Encaustic is all about letting the colour take your eye, with the wax and iron and movement of the hand/arm. This day I was into full colour, all colour and this is what was produced. It is a quick way to see lots of colours on the page all at the same time. While I can do actual pictures with the wax I simply love to let the colour flow, and the picture form itself. Great fun to do. Thanks fof all your comments.
