This is exquisite, the textures are superb, the colours work so well. I like the contrast between the solidness of the Harp with the delicacy of of carol face. she is really alive in this portrait . her hand is so well done.

Thanks, Helen. I'm glad you like the portrait. It was a special commission for a 'surprise' gift. I hoped to capture something vivid and romantic about the musician sitter, whom I had not met, and the feedback from the client and from you suggests it worked.
