This is very atmospheric, like the monochrome, thought at first it might be a print of some sort.

Thanks Jenny for your kind words, I think it was just the texture of the canvas board that helped. And it worked on a dark background when actually it was a beautiful bright day at the time.

This is how our local canal looks like in summer - completely covered in floating weed. I recall many years ago my puppy running onto it thinking it was just another field to play in and ended up quickly learning to swim! The acrylic colour matched that of the weed perfectly and brought back many happy memories of up north.
