Lovely style and colours, Linda. (I agree, Yupo paper can be frustrating to work with, especially if you’re used to laying washes, it takes forever to dry, although the colours stay vibrant.)

Thank you for your kind comments xxx I bought a pad of yupo so have to stick with it lol! I ended up grabbing a hairdryer to dry the paint, but I tend to work fast so did find it a bit frustrating.

I've decided to try out Yupo paper which is a synthetic material. Do I like it? I haven't decided, but there are good and bad points to it. I do love how you can actually wash off the paint, right back to whites but I don't like having no tooth on the paper (it's like skating on ice). I felt the sparrow ended up with a Rennaisance 'feel' as the lines/mark making created its form by itself.
