Good that you're enjoying your oil paints, Louise; they have such a different feel from watercolours or acrylics and this still life looks as though you've enjoyed the thick creaminess of the paint, and the textures are lovely. Look forward to seeing the next one, and thanks for your comment on my last posting.

Apologies for the picture I had to use my phone as my son has taken teh camera. I fancy trying some still life with my new oil paints. I have had a play with them on another picture to see how they performed as I havent used oil before. They are beautiful, lovely texture, but I have decided that in light of receiving these lovely paints, I need to try paintings things other than swishy grass....
