Agree with Angi - this has an unsettling quality about it. Mysterious and haunted looking. Very powerful image and thought provoking. Also has the impact of a very limited and strong palette. You're keeping us on our toes, Louise!

It is very dark and brooding Louise, but the light on the buildings gives it a spark. As if, after the storm there is hope. You see what rehab has done to me LOL!!!!!

You could crop this and make a marvellous book cover for a creepy drama : ) I seem to suggest you crop your work a lot lately Louise , : )

Love the black paper shows up the colours so well, what paper is it? Very dramatic image.

Thanks Ping and Carole. It wasn't meant to be spooky, but if it is then it is ! I was just having a go with some old waxy pastels I found in the cupboard! A change from watercolour! I see techniques here and think to myself "I'll try that!" Carole , it's 300gsm watercolour paper, not black, just black gouache used! Thanks again for comments, much appreciated!
