Yes Bravo! Good girls and boys......love the high viz vests Louise. Great to see your sketches again.

Great to see the girls again, doing their bit for the environment!

Lovely job...your painting and what they are doing. Bravo indeed.

Great to see you back Louise, and your quirky figures!

Many thanks Fiona, Christine, Lewis and Alan. It's just a quick sketch inspired by seeing a group of litter pickers the other day. There wasn't quite as much litter as here but they were doing such a good job tidying up the grass verges etc. Why on earth can't people take their mess home with them?

Good topic well drawn, as your figures always are, Louise.

This has an excellent message and should be displayed somewhere prominent for people to see. Great job Louise on your lovely sketches.

Thanks Jim and Carole!

It's been awhile but great to see your distinctive style again, Louise. I get so mad when I see what people drop - well, because they don't need it any more!

Beautiful work Louise

Thanks Marjorie. Me too, I feel so strongly about litter. Fortunately some some gets tidied up and we spotted dozens of plastic bags containing picked up litter lined up for collection along a local railway line. it was upsetting to see just how much there was. Often I close my eyes so I don't have to look at the rubbish littering the motorway embankments. Presumably drivers just chuck the stuff out of their windows.

Many thanks too David. It's just a quick sketch really..I often say that :)

Love your enthusiastic people Louise, great colours and different movements.

Your girls are doing a good job! Lovely to see them back again.

Really like this lively sketch Louise

Thanks Jenny and Heather!

What a wonderfully lively and timely piece. Fabulous variation of poses, which you've captured so well. Lovely work, Louise!

Thanks Seok. Nice to hear from you and hope you're well x

Thank you so very much for your kind comment on my last painting, Louise. I am well, thank you for asking. It's been a crazy two years, but one of the benefits is the number of online art courses that have sprung up. I hope you are very well and wish you safety and good health always, and I look forward to seeing more of your gorgeous works on this site soon!

Many thanks Seok and how nice to hear from you. I haven't been painting for some time now but hopefully will get the paints out soon. We have a little granddaughter in Seville and the family managed a visit to us here in Manchester recently for a few weeks. Then we all went down to London to see my other daughter there and her family. It was lovely to see them but obviously they kept us busy. No time to paint! I have no excuse now but still can't get going. x
