Great abstract girls Louise, you did well!

Louise Picasso, Girls in motion....great..(-:

Agree with Carole, great abstract girls.

Many thanks Carole, Jim and Sandra. These are such fun to do as obviously you never know how they'll turn out. A couple I did yesterday had detached heads which wasn't a good look..lol

That's really good. Odd how you have the faces almost the same when you weren't looking.

The hair and poses as well Lewis. I can't explain except that I suppose it's just the way I draw figures. My pen just goes off in the same direction?

I agree with Jim - definite a bit Picassoey - great fun pic.

Ridiculously good, I may have said that before! Drawing blind has added a new dimension, abstract to some point I suppose.

Thank you Margaret and yes Alan, it sounds ridiculous. Drawing upside down without looking is a real contradiction in terms. It goes against everything we learn about looking closely at a subject and drawing. Perhaps when you've been drawing for some time, it becomes a bit instinctive. I don't really know. I do know though that it's good fun to try and the almost abstract results can be either dreadful or sometimes have a certain appeal. The headless figures that appeared yesterday weren't good though and were quickly binned. My recycle bin will be full if I'm nor careful..lol

And it still is a recognisable 'Louise'-painting. Well done!

Don'ut you get a headache drawing upside down! He he. No these are remarkably good.

Another wow! Great stuff, Louise

Thanks Mia and I'm in pain Stephen.. lol

It must really hurt your head drawing upside down Louise, I don’t think I could do it, I would fall over I’m sure!lol On a serious note, it’s definitely got the Vaughan look.

Upside down, a sore head, pain in thumb (from drawing with the 'wrong hand'), my eyes getting used to the light and dodgy brushes..no wonder I'm in pain Fiona. The pills aren't working so will have to try the G & T treatment .. right way up of course! LOL

You clever thing Louise, sounds an impossible task but you have done it so well!

Make it a double!! You’ve earned it......

Many thanks Margaret and mine are usually doubles Fiona. I fell asleep, half way through the Sky Landscape programme. Typical..lol

Hello Louise, I hope both you and your girls are doing okay. I expect the girls are getting into all sorts of bother. Every time I read/hear something in the news that sounds ridiculous, I think of what the girls would think of it and what you could make of it! Have you managed to have a poke about the new website....it’s very quiet these days....not much humour I’m afraid. Hope all’s well Best wishes Fiona

A one-liner pen drawing drawn upside down without looking at the paper. I had to look when adding the colour though !!
