Lively and rather sweet. I like the closeness of the couple and the warm feeling between them. Great energetic pen lines and lovely loose washes complete the picture.

Wouldn't this look lovely with a cream mount and a black frame, simple but extremely effective.

Looked at both of these Close and Closer, I think this is the one I prefer ( though I do like both of them. Just the simplicity of this wins out for me .

Another super take, Louise. I really like the clean lines and economy of washes on this one. It's so effective.

Aah simplicity - I'm painting a model tonight (probably in my line drawing style which is not so different to this) and I hope the results are half as good - one of your best Louise.
