Love the colours in this Louise.. I remember a couple of old pubs one is still there the other demolished not long ago near Sheffiel, they were both done in that lovely green tiling.

Thank you Derek, Christine, David and Carole. The green tiling must have been the 'in thing' in those days Carole. It lasted as well and still looks good today!

Another Manchester view. The smaller green building here is a pub called The Peveril of the Peak which has lovely emerald green external tiling done many years ago, in the 1890's if I've got my facts right. It's a very attractive old building probably one that's been painted many times!
