I really like this - you've absolutely achieved what you set out to. Very different, probably doesn't come across quite as well aas it should as a small image but when enlarged, wow!

Thank you, Heather. I think because it is a bit unusual it can take a bit to work out. It's a bit of an unusual viewpoint, so probably gets lost as a thumbnail image. Thanks for your thoughtful feedback.

Really like this original, lovely idea which works very well Louisa.

Love it, Louisa, abstract yet not! Super

Extremely interesting light filled painting

Wow that’s so original Louise! Very striking and the way you’ve painted the fish is great.

Thank you Carole, Thalia, Stephen and Tessa. Your comments mean a lot, painting can be a lonely business.

Very interesting work, which looks pretty amazing, the light reflecting looks great.

Fantastic movement and light. It immediately reminded me of my local garden centre, with the conservatory roof and all. The shopper's eye view works a treat. Great work! Bri

Crystal clear, beautiful lines and marks, fantastic impression of rippling water Louisa.

Thank you Margaret, Dawn, Bri and Carole for your lovely positive and supportive comments. I do a range of these paintings and I get so used to seeing them that it's great to get fresh eyes looking at them and hearing your comments.

The aim is to show movement , light and that sense of transparency looking down on water. i like unusual viewpoints and I guess that helps to give an abstract twist, although in many ways this is a realistic painting, documenting what I have seen.
