Awww, he is gorgeous! Love the forlorn expression, which I'm sure belies a funloving nature. They're great fun at this age!

Thank you both very much. Actually, I think this look is more 'I know I shouldnt be doing this but I hope it wont be taken away from me in a minute, although I suspect it will'. Thanks

Great eyes well done hes so cute.

An expression anyone who has lived with dogs will recognize - half my life with them, half (so far!) without; how much more temptation I can stand from your wonderful paintings, I really don't know... He's splendid.

Thank you so much again. Why resist Robert? Get a small cuddly one.

I kept rats for quite a while - then my then partner and I got a dog; and she (a vast Alsatian) was really puzzled by the rats: were they puppies? Or possibly breakfast....? Strangely, the rats loved her - bar one, who got miffed when she generously helped him out of his tank by grabbing his head and plopping him firmly on a nearby chair... How about painting a nice rat, Lou? You're bound to tempt me to get either another dog or, should you paint one, a rat, sooner or later.

Hilarious!! Just as soon as I can find a decent picture I'll do a rat just for you two. Any particular look? Thank you

Hi Lou Ros P here just seen your lovely comment on my pastel drawing of a horses eye, now i have found your portfolio's i can see where you are coming from, you clearly love animals as well, your paintings have great feeling and lovely eyes in the animals in them as well, thanks so much for checking out my work and commenting
