A smashing subject Davus and a super work....except the bridge aligned with the booth doesn't quite work.

Hi Derek,<br />There are things wrong with the picture - the booth is too tall - the scan has cut out the top and so you can&#39;t see it, and that&#39;s partly because the booth is too thin. Having made the sketches, this is the first time I didn&#39;t sketch directly onto the canvas, but sketched with the brush as I went along. As you say, it has its good points though.

No probs David, we all mess up bits here and there.

London's Albert Bridge is one of the prettiest bridges over the River Thames, and at either end there are these rather nice looking old tollbooths. This was based on sketches I made when I was in London back in September.
