YES! It did take over 3 years to finish! i can no longer sit at an easel anymore for any length of time. By the time I've set up and done an hour I'm exhausted. I don't do oils so much now. Unless I can do it on a board in my armchair with my legs up. A Shady Glade 12 x 16 ins Oil painting MDF coated with canvas & Gesso Primed with Oil Primer I started this when I started to go to the art group at Bedworht Art Centre in 2009!! Stopped going and this has just sat around with me doing it here and there. The caravan is from a photo i took of one stood at the museum at Scolton Manor. The horse i think was one I took a photo of at Bosworth. The dog is my old dog Sadie. The brook photo was taken at Castell Henleys. I put them all together as refs and composed this piece.
