Refreshing Coconut Water

Well captured - Love those green coconuts. Very good drawing presumably from a photo. You could enhance your drawing, by using a darker pencil for the extreme shadows e.g. use a 6B.

Thank you for the compliment and suggestion @Linda! I used a range from H to 9B for this drawing.... The darkest darks are on the black shirt... That was as dark as those pencils got! To get darker, I would have to use charcoal!

I'm amazed. Perhaps it is over exposed then, or there needs to be more contrast in the photograph. It is sometimes very hard to get it a good photo, when the background is white. When trying to get the white areas light enough, sometimes the darks get too light.

Hmm the exposure in the photo might be slightly off, but even in person, it is hard to get a darkest dark with graphite compared to charcoal..
