You leave me (almost) speechless - the superb colour is so right for the sunrise scene, the figures make sense in their environment (this isn't always the case when we introduce people to land or seascape) and although swimming at dawn in this climate and time of year is something I'd never do in a thousand years, I've every respect for those mad fools who do it. It's a lovely painting - and I can absolutely SEE that you're inspired by colour.

Thank you all for your encouraging and kind comments, you’ve inspired me to do another one on a similar theme 😊 This is one of a few paintings that will be on show in a cafe (Brighton Sea Lanes Fika cafe) for a month, it’s not a big thing really but is to me.

24”x24” acrylic on canvas. Every time I start a sea painting I find my self painting another sunrise, it’s my favourite time to swim, I must admit I am looking forward to warmer mornings though.
