I like this very much, Lionel. Beautiful composition and colours. I watch the "paintinganddrawing" channel once a week and learned a lot of it!

I told you the only way is up Lionel, this is fabulous! Keep at it, you'll get there.

Lionel, this is great! The colours in in the distant mountains and the way you've painted the trees makes this a lovely landscape and the impressionist approach is certainly there. Thanks for the information about Tom's site; will look at the website as we're in Egypt at the moment so can't do the Sky thing. Look forward to seeing your next posting.

A touch of the Cézanne in those trees, and the way you've broken up the foreground colour. You seem to have found your way up to the next plateau after all!

This has really lovely atmosphere, Lionel - really love the distant mountains and the way you worked the trees. It's a super piece!
