I am loving all your animal portraits, Lilias. They are getting better and better.

She looks very attentive, as if you have got a dog-buiscit for her.

Hm... my old dog would look attentive at 19 years of age if you waved a biscuit in front of her, even though she couldn't actually see it.... I've tried painting spaniels, and think they're the most difficult of dogs - must post one of them; the ears are sheer murder, and the mouths - I sense you had trouble with this one? - are really quite strange by comparison with other dogs: you see if especially when they're puppies - almost a reptilian look. So well done with this one: I couldn't suggest an improvement and just recommend you do the obvious: practice, practice, then practice again - we need a combination of precision with freedom, and that doesn't just happen first, second, third or fourth time. She does look eager, though!
