Masking fluid is horrible stuff - and you've just proved you don't need it .... excellent mogger, looks as if he's demanding food, or contemplating a leap onto someone's lap who really doesn't want him there: really admire the way you've not had recourse to black or Payne's grey to show the division beneath the nose, and the mouth: all the better for avoiding them and using strong pink. Beautiful cat; by the way, if I could pass a law, it would be to banish masking fluid: there are so many other ways of achieving results in watercolour, and although I have seen great results from using it (chiefly in the works of the late Wilfred Ball) most of us rely on it to the great detriment of our work. Discuss!
