Thanks for your lovely comments Anni. Pastels are lovely to use. Just remember to use the blocks for large areas and pencils for the detail. I have a demo on my website if you are interested at www.ja-clarke.com. It is how to paint a frog with pastels. Some of my other work is also pastel.
