Thanks very much for your comments. Marjorie...you've issued a challenge that has no appeal, I'm afraid. Still life will occasionally appear in my pictures when it needs to be there. As a subject on it's own, it's a no, no for me. It would be a chore not a pleasure. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate other people's still life work.

Brilliant. A challenge that might appeal more is to produce a couple of pages of graphic novel, though somehow I guess you must have done this already at some stage.

One of my cherished possessions is a book on Science Fiction illustration from the 1920's to the present day. A visual feast (for me). I can seldom look at it without wanting to have a go myself. Here's one done a few months back. Nothing new here...the idea of having stone heads form a 'landscape' has been used over and over again. So here's my go...not copied, just made up. Probably not to everyone's taste.
