His face is full of character, looks as if he's had a hard life at sea on the fishing boats. Really great work Lewis. When I post a painting I usually resize it to 600 pixels for the longest side and that seems to work🙄

Didn't work as I'd hoped...on my monitor it's slightly less 8 x 6 inches (instead of 6 x 4). I suspect POL shows pixel size and makes adjustments depending on the image size. There may be other factors at play that my non-techno mind can't deal with. In photoshop I'm able to view 'print size' or pixel size...they were the same in photoshop...but it hasn't worked here. (if you're interested, this image is 408 x 280 pixels-6 x 4 inches, and 70 pixels/inch...I'd thought the quality might suffer but it looks OK on my screen) I might fiddle some more and post another one. By the way, this is no criticism of the POL gallery system...I think it's excellent.

This looks so familiar to the fishermen I used to see when I worked in Cromer. well done Lewis

It's a very nice painting Lewis. Lovely.

Certainly has the look of a salty old sea dog Lewis.

Great watercolour - different from your more usual cartoon style but so well painted
