Yes Lewis a great success and a well worked and attractive piece

What I make of it is that it's interesting and clever and I love the way the colour is applied.

Works well Lewis.

It's lovely Lewis a bit like a stained glass window 😃

I think it is great. I admire "true artists" and you are certainly one of them. Well done and keep them coming.

Great idea, and great picture. This is something I will add to the long list of things for me to try along the lines... the treble clef is a nice finishing touch to a cool painting.

Superb design and great use of warm and cool hues that add tension and interest to the piece. Excellent work.

It's a fabulous piece Lewis.

Great work Lewis.

Wow, Lewis. This is amazing, it must have took a lot of patience and a steady hand.

Thanks for explaining the background to this piece Lewis. It give more meaning to the work and enjoyment.

Nice painting Lewis and a great modern approach

Thanks everybody, for looking and your comments. Ellen...I wish I did have a steady hand. In fact this style made things easier for me, I could rest my painting hand on the picture as I was only painting small sections at a time, and didn't have to worry about colour match.

What an interesting approach have nver heard of it. But this is so clever.

I like this interesting approach, Lewis, very original. Lovely colours.

I haven't seen this type of art before Lewis but it looks very appealing. It is a little like a stained glass window as Linda commented and I like this a lot.

Makes a very interesting painting Lewis, I like it very much.

I like this style - like stained glass - great idea for family members.

Beautiful and colourful tile effect. You are so good at drawing and painting people. Very inspiring piece!

I love your style in this multi portrait Lewis really unique and so interesting.

Lewis you are a lucky man, you paint with such an open hand, free and easy. Your work has a ring of creative verve so often lost in the confines of much artistic expression.

You are an amazing artist your rendering of human features are beguiling. Fantastic work Lewis.

You draw your picture, divide it into odd quadrants, then paint each quadrant slightly differently.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
