Love those expressions!

I think it say it all Lew , the characters are excellent and really well drawn .

The lady on the left looks awfully recognisable Lew. You may be in danger of being dragged to The Tower!! Fab as usual.

I know it's the wrong play but looking at the reaction of the vicar and his friend (surely not Princess Anne?), I suspect the gentleman on the right thinks it is much ado about nothing.

Off to the Tower Lewis, she does look familiar. Smashing work.

Superb characters Lew , great series.

It’s the details that make it for me- the different colours of the faces with their expressions, the hands and the tie shooting out of his jacket with the effort of blowing. Another good one Lewis.

I think my brother had a tie like that - knitted!

Wonderful Lewis. You have opened Pandora’s box. Keep safe. Fantastic characters.

Thanks for your comments. Princess Ann!! Surely not! I’m amazed what people see in my drawings. Just trying to draw a snooty stand-offish lady. I’m innocent I tell you.

Your skills are always amazing. I'll come to visit you in the Tower Lewis.

Great theme to challenge yourself with Lew and good to see you continue to rise to that challenge

Love the vicar’s expression it says so much! Brilliant as always Lew.

Every one a winner Lewis, your observational skill is second to none.

The hands are marvellous, and the expressions superb!

A real tickler Lewis. Super little details .

I imagine the 'snooty' lady ignoring the rude man and saying: "More tea, vicars?"

Having decided to do this phrase, I struggled to think how I could illustrate it in one picture...this was all I could come up with.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
