fab, fab, fab Lew. You know people so well.

What a delightful group, each and every one a well thought out and drawn character ... I like Grandma best.

I just love the bridesmaids. Made me laugh out loud as I have a picture of me as a bridesmaid in 1954 looking like the one on the right!

The thought that came to mind was 'All's Well That Ends Well', which then made me wonder what Lew would make of illustrating Shakespeare.

What a fine collection of characters Lew! All of them great. And Tony- what a challenge you’ve lobbed in!!

Great artwork Lew, so pleased you re painted this .

Outstanding artwork Lew , super characters.

So very well done Lewis. I agree with Paul, I'm glad you did this one. My favourite is the lad on the right with the unaccustomed collar and tie.

Thank you all for your kind responses. It’s odd Tony, I’ve been looking at Shakespeare quotes for ideas. I’ve done a few Shakespeare oddments before.

A fine combination of characters Lewis. Lovely work.

The details are wonderful Lew. The girl throwing a tantrum, the boy trying to rase the tight collar, the sleepy guy on the left; what more can I say. Excellent!

Great characters, brilliant expressions!

You’ve definitely captured the wedding group so well- everyone so well drawn and thought out - I’m sure we can recognise so many of the different characters and their traits.

Hilarious Lewis and oh so good.

I recognise them all Lewis! Brilliant!

Fabulous! How I’ve missed seeing your work!

Excellent work, Lewis.

Delightful, I agree with Heather. So well drawn, great observation power you have.

This is a gem of observation and humour Lew. Lots in it to raise a smile

Oh boy! This absolutely says SO much about us all!! Brilliant again, Lewis!!

Your usual wonderful expressions Lewis, so enjoyable.

Another great piece Lew.

I posted some old pics recently about a plump couple. I'd done a series and had lost a couple of pictures. Thought I'd make another. Pen, watercolour, coloured pencils.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
