Another mushroom, 5 x 7 ins oil. I'm enjoying the challenge of the subtle changes of colour of the mushroom and the white base. I'm learning a lot from these oil sketches; subtle tonal values, mixing colour and dealing with changing light. I set my mini easel in front of a bay window so I can appreciate how the light changes on my subject. Pochade nearly ready!
