I schetched the concept andthen realized that I had 8 angels instead of an uneven number 7. After long deliberation I decided to paint them all as I could not decide which one to leave out. I saw this little red stone statue of an angel in a curio shop at the diamond mine in Cullinan which is near Pretoria.It is a very big painting 1500 x 900mm which I did for the back wall of our dining room.
