Jean Black painted this picture using 200lb water colour bockingford paper.She used watercolour for the background and chroma colours for the horse.She found it quite difficult to do and thought she had made a bit of a mess with the background and at one point wished she had put the red lorry in. Once she had put a white highlight in the eye the painting came to life.On the whole she am quite pleased with the painting but feels there is room for improvement.
