Your painting is good, Gill The sky is turbulent, and your tree in the foreground has a wonderful uncanny look to it, which suits the impressive structure of the building. Nice work.

Colin Steed - Artist and Tutor. I would agree with that. The sky has been applied with quick brushstroke that give's it a turbulent effect. You have given the scene a warm feel with the pink in the lower part of the sky, touches of warm colour to the building and trees either side and the tree shadow has a warm tone. Had the large tree have been a little darker and of a warm hue it would stand forward more. As always though you do have a fresh, spontaneous approach that I love in your work.
