Jenny Tevendale sent in her project saying: 'I began by drawing in waterproof ink: I don't do a pencil sketch first as I find I get too fussy if I do. I then applied watercolour to the image. I completed my picture prior to seeing the September issue and I found it very informative to compare the end results and to read about his way of tackling the image. I feel that my lines are a bit too heavy and my colour use not nearly as accomplished as Paul's but I enjoyed the project'
