Annette Worboys sent in her painting saying: 'I found it easier to paint the background in acrylic having first tried it in watercolour and not being happy with the result. The vase and flowers were painted afterwards using a watercolour wet in wet technique. I like this technique when working in watercolour and the free feeling that it gives with the paintbrush. I used ultramarine, permanent rose and lemon yellow'
