You have made a good job of this Vicky! Both the buildings and trees are well painted and the water/ reflections work well also.

Yet another lovely painting of this difficult subject. Yes the perspective on the wheel house is slightly out in a couple of places but your use of tone and colour on the buildings and their reflections are very good Vicky. looking forward to seeing more of you work.

"Having attended a painting course at Flatford Mill I loved the idea of this project as I have previously painted it from a different angle. Very glad Colin did a pen and ink sketch to clarify the very dark photo as it explained a lot and this is something I might do myself in future. I don't like to not know areas of the subject I am painting and am not glib enough to wing it plus the fact that I also love detail. The perspective was challenging but overall it was a good exercise in drawing and painting" Vicky Rosenthal
