Simple, but fun watercolour killer whale. I like the distinctive shape and white markings. I used Payne's Gray rather than black to add the subtleties in tone.

Retired beginner, playing with colour & paint as a way of relaxing, but still hopeless at drawing. I'm a Biologist by training, so botanical & animal portraits are my main interest. Looking to improve my observation skills & watercolour technique. Some interest in ink & Chinese brush too.
