Well done Lesley.

Particularly like the second one Lesley, such interesting creatures to paint.

Lovely drawings of these bees and showing their fragile wing-span transparency mastered well Lesley, well done!

Both lovely work Lesley great drawing.

2 lovely bees Lesley

Lovely, Lesley, I especially like the second one.

Good work Lesley, I also particularly like the second one and feel I could stroke the little fella, probably not a good idea!

Wonderful busy bees Lesley!

Thankyou for you lovely comments, really are appreciated. My second one seems to be more popular, I thought it looked more of a wasp than the honey bee. So don't stroke it Tessa Lol... I did the first one in walnut ink which I have not mastered as yet.. their wings are so delicate as are the shape of their bodies. All good fun..it will keep me buzzy (busy)

Hope you manage to make your trip to Scotland Lesley, whichever part you choose, you will find subjects in abundance to paint!

I do hope so, Fiona it was our retirement plan, we look forward to being safe, I haven't visited any part of Scotland. So much lovely scenery, I won't know where to start. We are members of the caravan club. Seem they are fully booked at the moment. Waiting for it to calm down a bit. Can't wait, just love your paintings. Keeps me interested.

Is it Galloway your heading for Lesley? I think there is a caravan club site at Garlieston, it’s a super spot.

Moffat, Rosemarkie, Milarrochy bay, Glencoe, are some on our list. Fiona. We will definitely be buzzing around.

Sounds exciting Lesley, I’ve been to all those places except Milarrochy bay, I don’t think you will be disappointed. Have fun!

Didn’t realise Milarrochy bay was Loch Lommond, been there too. You’ve got a fabulous itinerary planned.
