Port William. What if

Brilliant Lesley! I thought he was real when I first saw him as well. He makes you want to adopt the same pose and see what he’s looking at…..I found…..looking out to sea across the harbour. Our art class paints there in the summer sometimes, it’s a lovely quaint old place. Excellent figure work, and you’ve caught that look of weathered bronze really well.

Thankyou Fiona, The bronze colour took a lot of different colours layers . What lovely place, there are so many different view points here, that your art group could stare and paint. Your so lucky... We was going to port Patrick, so pleased we went the opposite way..

Lovely painting.

Fabulous Lesley and really interesting

Excellent painting and beautifully painted.

This is fabulous, Lesley. Beautifully painted and excellent figure work.

Port Patrick is a great place too Lesley, not much there but it has a lovely harbour, small beach, some very good eateries and if you are in to walking there are several walks that are enjoyable, with great views over the cliffs and sea. There are the ruins of Dunsky Castle on one of the walks. You will have to visit there on your next visit!

Thankyou so much for all of your kind encouragement, it is very much appreciated. This one was not so easy.

Thankyou Fiona, our next visit will be in three weeks, I will work out how to message you....

I apologised to this statue as I thought he was real..lol..what lovely place to visit, and a real nice meal of fish and chips & all the trimmings. I've painted this in watercolours on clairefontaine flamboyant paper.
