Your paintings of the area would make a terrific calendar for the southwest of Scotland Lesley. Lovely proportions to the lighthouse buildings, that touch of Heather colour which is reflected in the sky gives a feel of summer hanging in there. Did you walk down to the foghorn? Some of the film The Vanishing with Gerard Butler was filmed at the lighthouse and surrounding area.

We finally made it to the lighthouse, a stunning view in all directions.. a shame it was closed, beautiful heather surrounding almost like a heather moat... I've used watercolor on the flamboyant paper, but the smoother side..
