Goodness, this is a biggie indeed Lesley, some smashing movement in the sky and you have handled those difficult greens very nicely. Well done, you have made great progress with your painting over the last year or so.

This is my favourite view, from our tourer. I have painted many plein air here, I have tried to incorporate the best, on this large canvas, 76x102cm. And test out how I have developed my artwork in the last two years, I am very self critical, but I can see how much I have learnt, from using this site and reading LP magazines. I have been able to catch the light this time, as the sun almost disappears behind the clouds, my reflection on the sea does not show up to well in this photo, it is better viewed from distance. As with all large painting I have painted this in acrylics on canvas frame 76x102cm.my first large canvas using larger brushes...
