Charcoal Hare

Always like a good hare, hard to do with charcoal I suspect

This must have been quite a challenge Lesley as I imagine fur very difficult to achieve with charcoal. You have managed to produce a beautiful rendition of the hare and the eye is so, so good.

This is really good, Lesley. I can’t get on with pastel mat because I’m so messy and it doesn’t clean up well I find.

You have certainly got the fur "spot on " with a super pose.

Thankyou Heather, definitely a challenge with charcoals. Thankyou Carole, I do like to get the eyes right, to get character first. Thankyou Katy, yes, pastel mat is hard to keep clear, but you can always cover a mess with more great art. Thankyou so much Richard, much appreciated, not an easy one.
