Yes, I recognise the photofit Mick, I've met one or two these in my career too...do anything for a mars bar or half ounce. You did very well to get the better of this one Mick, I expect those were the days when a lag had respect for a good copper?lol All very different now.

Thanks Fiona. You knew what 'power' was then too. A power-lifter like me. What a recipe for control - Mars Bars and baccy. Like Soma, as Huxley said, "All the advantages of Christianity and alcohol; none of their defects." Keeps them quiet.

Graphite and Watercolour. A hit-man I arrested in a boxing gym in South Tyneside. He violently resisted arrest so I put him in a head lock and incapacitated him until I got the 'cuffs on him and the van arrived. Later charged with GBH he replied, 'You're too good for me Mr. McManus, it was me what done it but I didn't mean to break both his legs'.
