Good memory sketch Michael, I am told some men today would pay a lot for that privilege lol.

Thanks Stephen. My memory used to be brilliant but I must admit that I can get a little confused these days. She may not have been called Heather. I forgot to say it's a pencil sketch and watercolour wash.

This must be Heather with the swaying hips Michael? I'm beginning to believe that you must have been an Adonis in your youth to attract all these young ladies....or, vulnerable! lol I like your free style of sketching and Heather has movement.

Thanks Fiona. Yes, vulnerable. Only when I met Annette early New Years Day 1967 did I feel safe.

I knew her..only joking Michael but what a story you tell! It's a super drawing. As Fiona says, the girl certainly has swaying hips and there's so much body movement.

Great sketch with a great story Michael!

Oh Michael! What a story. Anyway you have some great sketches!

Thanks Louise, Satu and Carole. That's enough of that. I'm off on another tack.

And then you awoke Mick! Lovely Mick-like sketch and Mick-like reminiscing!!

Thanks Adele. As God is my witness.......

Hmm! My mother didn't raise any gullible kids Mick.

Heather befriended me on a bus in Blackpool, where I was on holiday for 2 weeks with my mates when I was seventeen. I told her that my main pastime was sketching and painting and she said she was an artist too and invited me to her hotel to see her etchings. I told her I wasn't interested in that sort of thing but she insisted. When we got to her room she admitted she had lied and said she only wanted to model for me. I was mortified and told her I was strictly religious and had been taught by nuns but she took no notice and said she would sell the sketches at a local market and share the money with me. As I was short of money I agreed. After 8 days I realised I was wasting my holiday as she just wanted to stay in the room and be sketched. I realised I had been very silly and naive so I telephoned her and told her I wouldn't be seeing her again. She verbally abused me. I got none of the money.
