Unconventional

You certainly conjure up some wonderful expressions Michael and anxiety is a very current topic. Well portrayed here.

What an expression! He does look extremely worried, a bit shifty and very suspicious about whatever it is he's looking at. Anxiety is a serious topic I know but your expressive 'unconventional' portrait made me smile. Great portrait !!!

Marvelously real expression. (He looks like he's read your description of the painting.)

Love the way you capture personalities (and your explanations!)

Thanks Louise, Lewis and Heather.

Fabulous work. Unless you want to have all the bells and whistles with POL, you carry on as usual after trial period.

Thanks Gudrun. That’s good news.

Portrait of a man who suffered anxieties and was suspicious of others but who was cynical and played upon people’s conventional expectations. Acrylic on canvas.
