Love this one mick. It's a good honest self-portrait and has merit

Thanks Dennis. Now trying out Artrage and my iPad and I'm really enjoying it.

I'm not familiar with artrage ,but how I got into digital was by first doing the paintings on my computer if I liked it I would then paint it , but after a while I realised I enjoyed working on the computer and my paintings looked as good if not better then I printed a few which turned out really good , and the rest is history.

Your biography was interesting I came to life from the other angle I was a scally ,I don't know why I took that path but its really hard to shake it , I was lucky as my wife and I had a kind of supernatural experience with us both being there it was powerful the side effect of that set me of looking much closer at life ,I have discovered some amazing things and completely and utterly changed as a result I had a great life . painting has given me endless pleasure and I love the process far more than the end result .I like your painting's Michael and am pleased you are enjoying art as I am.

Thanks Dennis. There are quite a few police Scallys too. Eventually we all slow down and tow the line a little closer. The only drawback to Artrage is that it seems to take up a lot of memory and your marks often take a second or two before they transmit onto the screen. I find it difficult enough to draught a sketch onto paper let alone a screen, so I'm sketching the basic images on paper, photographing it and then importing it into Artrage to colour and develop. I still can't get the splendid effects that you do but I keep trying. I can see your effects as based on your original talent as an artist using conventional media, so I expect my progress will be limited to my limited talent as a draughtsman. It's a great challenge for me though.
